Most artists who try their hand at horror photography will, at some point, want to use fake blood. You can buy countless types of theatrical fake blood and gore make-up, but if you'd rather have something cheap and cheerful, Homemade Blood Tutorial by ~CaptainShort1 shows three different types of fake blood that you can make from stuff that probably already lives in your kitchen.

Awesome tutorial, but I was wondering is there any way to do it with out 'food' products?

I need some fake blood to stain a vest and I want it to keep it's rich colour but with out using something that will mold or fade over the course of an hour. Any suggestions?
